Meeting Summary

Dr. Ann Ojeda led our meeting on April 2nd, where we had 16 participants gathered on Zoom who are working towards writing the state-of-the-science review. Dr. Ojeda discussed each topic on the agenda above and also provided time for each scoping review group to give updates on their sections.


Pre-Submission Application

Ann and Nicole have been working on the pre-submission application for ES&T. Pre-submission and manuscript guidelines can be found here. The application will be shared in the scoping review google drive folder for participants to review. If you are a part of the review and need access, email Nicole.

An article was shared that describes 14 review types to clarify the groups decision to write a state-of-the-science review instead of a systematic review.

One-Pager Updates

  1. Section headers have a slight name change! Updated headers can be found in the theme sign up page on google drive.
  2. Groups are moving along on their one-pagers with a goal to have them done by May 28th.
  3. Remember to continue using our shared google drive folder to upload documents you’d like to share with the team.

Authorship

Authorship will be based on contribution and will follow the CRediT framework. Towards the end of the review, Nicole will send out a self evaluation for each participant to fill out regarding manuscript contribution.
